2002 Ski House
This is the ski house that Holly and I are sharing a winter lease in
this year. We are sharing it with about ten folks from Tellme. It is
located up in Truckee,
which is on the right shore of Lake Tahoe. The house is really close
to Northstar at Tahoe and
pretty close to the
Boreal,
Squaw Valley,
Alpine,
Sugar Bowl, and
Homewood ski resorts.
The ski house is a cozy little cabin. Kyle, Holly, and I took a trip up
there in early December to pick up the keys and do a little early season
skiing. I took some photographs so the folks who didn't make it up would
know what they were missing.

A strange piece of art made of sea shells, plus a barbecue supply cabinet that looks like a tree stump |

The damper is on the lower right of the stove. Note that the stove is held up by gnomes. |
The kitchen, which is pretty decent. Amenities include a dishwasher and microwave |

The master bedroom upstairs, which has a king bed and a double, has a beautiful window that looks out into the forest |

The bed in that bedroom |
That bedroom is smaller but more featureful. It has a chair... |

...and a writing desk with some old pictures on it... |
...and an ancient, but functional, television |

I forgot to take photographs of closet spaces. The downstairs bedroom
has a small clothes closet, plus a really tiny linen closet with a
midget-sized door. Both of the upstairs bedrooms have large open closet
areas. There is a small pantry near the kitchen, plus lots of cabinet
space in the kitchen. All of it is filled with old kitchenware and old,
somewhat sketchy looking food. I also forgot to take a picture of the
upstairs bathroom, which also has a shower in it.
